Playbooks

A small agency usually wins clients through referrals and then runs out of them. A system for finding new ones is a set of repeatable steps: decide who to reach, build a list, write a short sequence, send at a safe pace, answer replies and book calls. You can set that up in a week. You cannot promise yourself clients in a week, and this plan does not. It gets a system running that you can then improve.

What the week gives you

  • A written description of the clients you want, saved where the tools can read it.
  • A small, clean list of people who fit.
  • A short LinkedIn sequence, with an optional email follow-up.
  • A booking page and a habit of offering times in replies.
  • One campaign running at a modest pace, and a way to see what it does.

The plan uses GrowPython, and every step works the same way in other tools. Where GrowPython has a limit, it is stated.

Day 1: decide who, and write it down

Write the one kind of client you want next: the role, the industry, the company size and one reason they would care now. Pick one. A small agency that tries to reach everyone reaches no one.

In GrowPython, put it in the Business profile under Settings. The profile holds your company, your audience segments, your voice, your red lines (words and claims never to use) and how you sell. The Copilot, the reply bot and the content tools all read it. See Company Brain. Do not paste passwords or private customer data into it, because it is read by AI helpers.

Day 2: set up the workspace and connect an account

If you serve several clients, give each one a workspace. A workspace holds the accounts, lists, campaigns and everything else for one brand or client, and you switch between them in the sidebar. Invite teammates with a role: Admin or Member. Owners and admins manage settings; members do the daily work. The agency page explains workspaces, roles and white label.

Connect the LinkedIn account that will send. It is a one-time sign-in on a secure page run by the connection provider, and GrowPython never sees the password. Each connected account uses one seat, and you need an active plan or a running trial to connect. Open the account's Limits tab and choose the Gentle pace, 50 a week. You can raise it later.

Day 3: build a small list

A list is the group of people a campaign talks to. Ten people who fit are worth more than a thousand who might. In Lists, choose where the people come from: a LinkedIn search, a pasted Sales Navigator search (this needs a Premium account), people who engaged with a post, a CSV file, or your existing connections.

  • Start with 30 to 50 people. Importing contacts no one, so you can look first.
  • A CSV import shows a dry run before it adds anything: how many rows are new, how many repeat, how many could not be used.
  • Skim the list. Remove clients, partners and anyone who does not fit. The quality bar grades people Elite, Hot, Warm or Cold as they are scored, and shows Not scored for the rest.

Day 4: write the sequence

Write three messages: a connection note or none, a first message after acceptance, and one follow-up. Use the Message library, which checks length and variables, previews the message for a real person and keeps version history. Open with the other person, say one thing, ask one easy question and make it easy to say no. Do not claim results or clients you cannot back up.

A connection note is available on Premium accounts. With a free account the request goes out without one, so put the reason to talk in the first follow-up. If you also want an email follow-up, connect a mailbox and switch on the Email Follow-up step. LinkedIn and email outreach together shows how.

Day 5: the booking page and the campaign draft

Set your weekly hours, create one 20 minute meeting type, and turn the booking page on. This guide has the steps. Google Calendar is not live yet, so booking runs in local mode: check your own calendar for clashes.

Then create the campaign as a draft. Name it, pick the account and the list, add the sequence, and set the Schedule tab to the working days and hours you want. The Overview tab shows a checklist. Three items block Start: a sender, a follow-up message if that step is on, and working hours. Read the Preview tab for a real person.

Day 6: start small

Press Start yourself. A campaign never starts without your click, and the Copilot cannot press it for you. Watch the first day on the Overview tab. Replies from LinkedIn and email land in the Inbox: read them, answer in your own voice, and use Offer times when someone wants a call. The reply bot only writes drafts that you approve.

Day 7: look and adjust

  • Open funnels to see how far people get from import to a reply or a meeting.
  • Read the replies, including the no's. They tell you whether the list or the message is off.
  • Change one thing at a time: the list, the first message or the follow-up.
  • Add a Task for each next step so nothing depends on memory. Tasks and the CRM sit in the same workspace.

What to expect, and what not to

A few dozen people over a week gives you a first read on whether the message lands, not a pipeline. Do not judge the system on seven days. Judge it on a month of steady, small sending against your own earlier numbers. Published benchmarks rarely say who was measured or how, so we do not quote any.

Cost

GrowPython is 25 USD per seat per month, or 1,500 INR including GST in India, with a 5-day free trial for new customers. A seat is one connected LinkedIn account. White label is a separate paid add-on, and the price is shown on the Billing page. See pricing and the agency solution.

Where it falls short for agencies

  • No integrations with outside CRMs or reporting tools. Reporting to a client means sharing what you see in GrowPython yourself.
  • White label has known gaps: people sign in separately on a custom domain, and a new domain can show the default brand briefly while the certificate is issued.
  • The mobile app is not in the stores yet.

Questions

Can a small agency really set this up in a week?
The setup, yes: profile, workspace, account, list, messages, booking page and a campaign draft. Results take longer, and no tool can promise them.
How many people should the first campaign have?
A few dozen. A small, well chosen list shows whether the message lands, and you can add people later.
Does each client need its own workspace?
It is the cleanest way to keep their accounts, lists and campaigns apart. Each invitation says which workspaces a person can open.
What does it cost?
25 USD per seat per month, or 1,500 INR including GST in India. A seat is one connected LinkedIn account. New customers get a 5-day free trial.
